Subject to local regulations, ADUs may be located either inside, attached to, or detached from the primary home on property. The following items will not be part of the site specific package, this is because local building departments will have different code ordinances that apply only to the specific location/zone. Therefore is always a good idea to keep in mind that some of the following items may be required before a building permit can be issued and must be provided by a third party consultant.
